Ripple 's scheduled November escrow unlock has put 1 billion XRP into circulation, with blockchain data tracker Whale Alert reporting two transactions in this regard. According to Whale Alert , 500,000,000 XRP (626,430,089 USD) was unlocked at Ripple in the early hours of November 1; another 500,000,000 XRP (626,430,089 USD) was unlocked, bringing the total unlock to 1 billion XRP tokens. Ripple's monthly unlocks are part of the firm's ongoing process to increase transparency and predictability around XRP distribution.
